These terms cover playing on the TulipSMP Minecraft server, using tulipsmp.com and our Discord, and buying from the TulipSMP store. By joining the server or using any of them, you agree to these terms, our Rules and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
TulipSMP is run by whiscey (whiscey.net). "We" and "us" in these terms means TulipSMP and whiscey.
1. Not an official Minecraft product
TulipSMP is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. You must also follow the Minecraft End User License Agreement while playing here.
2. Who can play
- You must be 13 or older to play on TulipSMP or join our Discord.
- You need a Minecraft account that you're allowed to use, on Java or Bedrock Edition.
- If you're under 18, or under the age of adulthood where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission to play and to buy anything from the store.
- You're responsible for everything done on your account, so don't share it.
3. Rules and behaviour
Everyone must follow the server rules, which are part of these terms. TulipSMP is an LGBTQ+ safe space: hate, harassment and bullying aren't tolerated. Staff decide how to apply the rules, and may warn, mute, kick, temporarily ban or permanently ban players, including for behaviour that isn't listed but harms the community.
Don't cheat, use hacked clients, abuse bugs or exploits, dupe items or use unapproved automation. If you find a bug, report it to staff instead of using it. Items or money gained from a bug may be removed.
4. Store purchases
- Ranks, keys, cosmetics and other store items are digital items for use on TulipSMP only. They have no real-world or cash value and can't be sold, traded for real money or moved to another account unless we say so.
- Purchases are processed by our third-party store and payment provider, under their own terms.
- All purchases are final. We don't give refunds, except where the law where you live says we have to.
- Monthly ranks renew automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep the rank until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Opening a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us first will lead to the purchase being removed and may lead to a ban.
- We may change, rebalance or retire perks and items over time, for example to keep the game fair or to follow Minecraft's rules.
- A ban for breaking the rules doesn't entitle you to a refund.
- If something you bought didn't arrive, open a ticket in our Discord and we'll sort it out.
5. Voting rewards
- You can vote for TulipSMP once per voting site per day, and get in-game rewards for each vote.
- Votes must be made by you, by hand. Automated votes, bots, scripts or voting from lots of accounts or addresses to get extra rewards aren't allowed, and may lead to rewards being removed or a ban.
- Voting sites are run by other companies, and we can't fix problems on their side. We may change voting rewards at any time.
6. The free gift
- When it's available, the free gift on the Vote page lets you watch a short video ad in return for a small in-game item. It's completely optional.
- Gifts are in-game items for use on TulipSMP only and have no real-world or cash value.
- There are limits on how often you can claim a gift (currently one every 2 hours, up to 5 a day). Don't try to get around them, for example with scripts or ad tricks.
- We may change the gift, its limits, or end it at any time.
7. Your builds, chat and content
You keep ownership of what you create, but by building, chatting or posting on TulipSMP you let us store it and show it, for example in screenshots, trailers, social media and on this website. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
8. The server can change
We work hard to keep TulipSMP running, but we can't promise it will always be online or bug-free. We may update, reset or wipe worlds, economies and features, and we may not be able to restore items lost to bugs, crashes or rollbacks. We may also close the server, though we'll give as much notice as we reasonably can.
9. Other services
The website and server link to or use other services, such as Discord, voting sites and our store provider. They have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for them.
10. No guarantees
TulipSMP, the website and the store are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect loss, or for losses beyond the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here removes rights you have under the law where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we'll announce big changes on Discord. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.
